Puisi : Sendu

Sendu

Pandangan yang berubah 
Tak ada penjelasan
Perasaan yang gundah
Muncul tanpa alasan

Langit suram dan buram
Mengiringi rasa tak tentu arah
Hati meredup perlahan kusam 
Tak tahu kemana harus mengarah

Dari mana lagi ku harus mencari
Sumber mata air yang harus kutemui
Hilang akal perlahan menghampiri
Akankah berhasil mengelabui?

It was then, I felt it.

Darkness overcame,

and no light seeped through.

All sound was drowned out, 

all hell was let in.

Gasping,

I searched for air. 

But that too had been tainted.

Lungs crumbling in, 

thuds coming fewer, 

poison pulsed heavily in mind. 

I said my goodbyes, 

Hands wavering in the air,

fingers clutching at nothing.

Nothing to hold, nothing to grab. 

I let go.

So then I went.  

Silently floating, drifting nowhere.

My soul hopelessly quiet,

hopelessly dead.
